Abstract: : The ever-increasing human population in Africa demands a corresponding increase in food production. A critical challenge is the low N in many African agro ecosystems; to address the N problems, significant changes are needed through focused research on sustainable intensification, capacity development and management of multi-stakeholder partnership. Hence, the EU funded H2020 INSA project, is bringing together key stakeholders (within Africa and Europe) to take practical actions and share lessons that will move African agriculture environment forward by leveraging innovation N systems and build resilience, for enhanced productivity. These processes will bring science-led N management to scale and create interoperable platform for improved policy decisions in Africa.
